Barrett has finally done it! Bike riding is all he wants to do now. He asked to try awhile back and did ok, but he get's very frustrated quite quickly when he doesn't do something perfect the very first time. And for some reason when I am around he gets more frustrated. Just one more perk us Mom's have. Now he can get himself started, turn, go over bumps, ride in the grass, and skid to a stop. All on day 2. Chris and I have been planting the seed of being able to do a kid's triathlon when he turns 5. How cute would that be?! Speaking of running....Danni and Barrett ran in their first track meet. The local track club here has races for fun once a week. They loved it! The won ribbons each race and were very proud of them. Pumpin' Danni
Danni can now officially pump the swing all by herself! YAY!!! As soon as she woke up this morning she ran and got shoes on so she could go outside and swing. Ahhhhh what a relief! Life seems so much easier now that my daughter is potty trained AND can swing by herself. This is awesome.

Barrett's Romance
So, our church had their annual beach baptism this weekend. My friend Tara was there with her 2 little girls, Faith about 7, and Hope 3. Danni and Barrett know them pretty well since we do a lot of stuff with them. Barrett has always sort of acted like he was a little sweet on Faith. I don't blame him because she is a very cute girl. At the beach the two of them were inseparable. They literally played all day. At one point Barrett came up to Chris and asked him, "Daddy, is this a pretty shell? I want to give Faith a pretty shell" Chris says, "sure, it's pretty." Barrett replies, "mmmm, well, maybe I'll just keep it then."
Guess he hasn't reached the point of going ALL OUT to impress a girl yet....and I'm ok with that!

Turkey Love
Today we spent the day at the "museum" where all the native Florida animals are and the caboose and "old Publix." We go there A LOT since there really is a whole lot to do in Tallahassee. But each time it graces us with a new experience. Today....a turkey fell in love. In love, with a sweet little girl named Danni. The only thing separating the turkey from his sweetheart was chicken wire. He puffed up his feathers and strutted his stuff anytime Danni was near. It was obvious he had a thing for her. It was quite fascinating. Danni showed him some interest for about 20 seconds and then moved on. I'm hoping that will be a trend. :)

All Day
So Danni and Barrett were asked to clean their room (by Daddy otherwise it wouldn't have happened) and 5 minutes into it Danni is wiping her brow after grunting and says, "this is taking all day!" "How many days do we have to do this?"
I am guessing she got the Chris gene for over exaggeration. She also commonly says, "Oh brudda" (oh brother). I'm pretty sure she won't have any problems expressing her feelings as she grows up.
